Participants had the opportunity to choose from ten of the country’s best 50m pools to complete their relay, or take part in the open water event at Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire.
SwimBritain was open to swimmers of all abilities, as long as they were at least 8 years old and can swim 125m or 250m without stopping, individuals could get involved in our pool events. The open water relay at Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire was open to swimmers aged 12 and above.
As with the pools, there were two SwimBritain distances at Blenheim: SwimBritain 1000 (where each swimmer swam 4 legs of 250 metres) and the more family friendly SwimBritain 500 (where each swimmer swam 4 legs of 125 metres).
